Rooted in the spirit of the second wave of black metal, Possessed By The Moon alternates relentless, aggressive passages with sombre melodic interludes and haunting synthesizer textures. While embracing a raw and uncompromising aesthetic, the album reveals a broader sense of dynamics and atmosphere, allowing each composition to unfold with purpose and intensity.
Co-produced by Chaoscibel, Possessed By The Moon stands as Azgarath’s most accomplished and fully realized work to date.
